About Us
Sugar Cake Shop was born in Myrtle Beach, SC with a dream, raw talent, and a whole lot of SUGAR! The owner of Sugar Cake Shop, Catherine O’Sullivan, began making cakes in her home kitchen for her daughter’s birthdays when she became a mom.
It didn’t take long for those around her to recognize her talent, and she soon became the ‘cake queen’ of her family and friends. Word continued to spread of her amazing work through word of mouth and social media, until she had no choice but to follow her passion and create Sugar Cake Shop.
Catherine pours hard work and love into every recipe she makes, and it shows in the exquisite work she produces.
